Jon F. Swift Construction led the design-build team for the Lemon Avenue Streetscape project. Ironically, this was the second time Jon F. Swift Construction provided upgrades and repairs to the existing Lemon Avenue in downtown Sarasota. The scope of work for this portion of the project included making a seamless space between the pedestrian and vehicular traffic and upgrading Paul Thorpe Jr. Park. This final piece of the puzzle for this corridor made the entire Lemon Avenue in downtown Sarasota a cohesive and unique walkable street.
Significant community outreach methods were used for this project keeping the surrounding businesses up-to-date with project information.
