This new artificial turf field was built as a part of Sarasota County Schools’ plan to upgrade the high school track and fields to the most modern materials. Our team built the third artificial turf in the school district at North Port High School (NPHS). The existing rubberized track was new and needed to be protected during construction of the new field. The Swift team took care and extra effort to protect the track yet still allowing access to the field during the entire length of construction.
Additional scope of work included the installation of new sidewalk and ribbon curbing, the purchase and installation of a new audio system and new chain link fencing along the perimeter of the track. Our team ensured these additional scope items were covered within the original project budget.
