Client: Sarasota County School Board
The Sarasota County School Board hired Jon F. Swift Construction for the Design/Build new rubberized track project at Venice High School. The scope of work included replacing the existing five lane track with a new six lane rubberized track. The High School wanted to be able to host local track meets and therefore the sixth lane was added.
In addition, the athletic equipment, irrigation, low voltage, power and fencing was relocated. Our goal for this project was to rebuild the track to meet the fall 2016 football season schedule. After working closely with Venice High School Athletic Director, engineer, as well as our School Board project manager, we were able to execute this project during the summer and have it open for the football season.
