Client: Goodwill Industries of Manasota, Inc.
Jon F. Swift, Inc. was charged with building a new Attended Drop-off Center (ADC) for Goodwill in the community of Lakewood Ranch on an undeveloped parcel. The project had to meet the strict building guidelines of the Lakewood Ranch Association. The 2800sf facility includes a drive-through that allows for easy donation drop offs, even during inclement weather. It also has two truck wells for tractor trailer docking to accommodate Goodwill’s massive distribution system. Finished interior floors are polished concrete to take advantage of a practical low cost, low maintenance option that was well suited for the facility. This particular ADC included a small office for Goodwill’s job placement program.
