Jon F. Swift Construction completed a 29,000 sf addition to the existing Fruitville Elementary School campus. The new addition provides permanent classroom space for students and teachers. This building was completed in time for the 2016-2017 school year.
In addition to the new classroom building, interior renovations were also completed to buildings 3 and 8. Building 3 is the front office and is also a historical landmark in Sarasota. This building took special time and attention to ensure no historical elements were disturbed. The project scope also included the construction of a new covered play pavilion, new parking areas and the expansion of the existing bus loop.
